Dimitrov And Cilic Offer Each Way Value At The ATP World Tour Finals

The ATP World Tour Finals get underway at the O2 Arena in London on Sunday and there is a lop-sided look to the betting market as the absence of Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka would appear to have left the door wide open for Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to meet in the final.

However, we fancy there could be some each-way value to be found...

Tips Grigor Dimitrov (each way)    Best Bet @ 12 / 1
Marin Cilic (each way) @ 14 / 1

Pete Sampras Group

The top-two players from each of the Pete Sampras and Boris Becker groups go through to the semi-finals and draw for the round robin stage has been made, with Rafael Nadal alongside Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov and David Goffin.

Nadal is 9/2 to win the ATP World Tour Finals for the first time in his career as the French Open and US Open winner bids to sign off a stunning year in style, although injury worries that forced him to withdraw from the recent Paris Masters are a major concern and ensure his price is plenty short enough.

Thiem (25/1) started the year well but has run out of steam and he could struggle, while David Goffin is arguably suited to slower courts and is 25/1 for a reason.

Which leaves Grigor Dimitrov, who has reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open during a 2017 campaign that also saw him secure a maiden Masters title in Cincinnati. The Bulgarian is a delight to watch and he should enjoy the indoor hard courts in what will be his debut appearance at the ATP Tour Finals. With Nadal potentially struggling due to injury, the draw has opened up nicely for Dimitrov and he offers each-way value at 12/1 (Bet Victor).
Tip #1: Grigor Dimitrov (each way) @ 12/1 with Bet Victor.

Boris Becker Group

In the Boris Becker group, Roger Federer is joined by Alex Zverev, Jack Sock and Marin Cilic.

Federer is 4/6 favourite to win the title (Betfred) and the 36-year-old is looking to win the ATP World Tour Finals for a seventh time in his career. The 4/6 is very short though and we prefer to seek out a bit of each-way value in this section...

Alex Zverev has enjoyed a stellar year, winning two Masters 1000 titles, but the 20-year-old has looked as if a long year is catching up with him and he is a touch short for us at 7/1.

Jack Sock secured a career-best win at the Paris Masters last week and is 25/1 in London, albeit he didn't have to beat a great deal to win in France.

Instead, we prefer to back Marin Cilic at 14/1 (Betfred) as the big-serving Croatian has recovered from injury problems that wrecked his appearance in the Wimbledon final to end the year in decent touch, reaching the Shanghai semi's and Paris quarters in recent weeks.

Cilic, who has won an ATP Tour title in each of the past ten years, has only won one of his previous six matches in this season-ending event at the O2 Arena but this year's renewal is far weaker than previous tournaments and we can see him progressing to the knockout stages at least.
Tip #2: Marin Cilic (each way) @ 14/1 with Betfred.com.
