Scoop6 Tips: Estimated Prize Fund Of Over 2.5 Million

Posted: Friday, 11th January 2019

There is a bumper ToteScoop6 prize fund on offer this Saturday with an estimated £2.5million up for grabs.

One of the most popular horse racing bets, the ToteScoop6 can see punters win a monster prize pool for a small stake, and with last weekend's bumper prize pot rolling over then this weekend will see the fund rise even further.

The win fund rolling over from last weekend is £1,005,634 after deductions, while the bonus fund will see a whopping £700,180 after deductions, so do you think you can correctly select six winners from six selected races?

Well, if you think you can then why not give the ToteScoop6 a crack on Saturday afternoon with four meetings featuring amongst the six races.

We have tried to point you in the right direction of finding those all-important winners, so take a look at our six selections in the Scoop6 races here:

Leg 1: 12:40pm Warwick

SENSIBLE FRIEND has been running consistently for Amanda Perrett, but has just struggled to get his head in front. However, the six-year-old has had a break since finishing fifth at Fontwell Park and has also undergone wind surgery, so that could prove the difference in this Warwick contest, and he can kick off our Scoop6 picks on a winning note.

Leg 2: 2:10pm Fairyhouse

Gordon Elliott's DUCA DE THAIX was a fine five-length winner of a competitive Fairyhouse handicap chase last time out, but he could improve on that performance on Saturday and can land the Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase. He will have to defy a 10lb rise for that recent win, but Elliott knows how to get them to continue on an upward curve, and Duca De Thaix could prove too good for his rivals.

Leg 3: 2:40pm Kempton Park

MELLOW BEN was touched off by Erick Le Rouge when the pair clashed at Kempton Park last time out, but the winner that day has been upped significantly by the handicapper for that win and may struggle to frank the form in the Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle this weekend. Mellow Ben has the potential to improve over timber this season, and he can cause a surprise in the big race of the day at the dual-purpose track.

Leg 4: 3:00pm Warwick

Paul Nicholls will be hoping that IBIS DU RHEU can turn into a potential Grand National contender by the end of the Jumps season, and if he is to be Aintree bound then the John Hales-owned grey will need to win the Classic Handicap Chase at Warwick. Outclassed by The Worlds End at Cheltenham last time out, Ibis Du Rheu could benefit for the step up in trip and if he can get into a rhythm over his fences then can land this prize.

Leg 5: 3:35pm Warwick

FIRST ASSIGNMENT failed to continue his progression over hurdles when beaten by Paisley Park in the Betfair Stayers' Handicap Hurdle at Haydock Park last time out. However, with that contender going on to win the Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot last month then the form of that Haydock contest is strong, and First Assignment can cruise to victory in this Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle on Saturday afternoon.

Leg 6: 3:40pm Lingfield Park

We move to the Flat for the final leg of this weekend's bumper Scoop6 and it's worth putting your faith in the Charlie Wallis-trained SHARP OPERATOR, who put up a decent effort when third nine days ago. He will strip fitter for that outing earlier this month, and have shown the knack for winning last season with three victories then he can round off this weekend's Scoop6 with a victory
