Forth Worth Invitational at Colonial Betting

Jordan Spieth is as short as 7/1 for the Fort Worth Invitational at Colonial Country Club and he has a formidable record in this event, going 2-1-2 in his last three visits. A return to this Texan venue could see him rediscover form following some disappointing recent displays but we prefer to look for a bit of each-way value further down the market.

Jason Dufner appears to tick plenty of boxes as he has finished in the top-six in three of his past six visits to Colonial (including two runner-up efforts) and last year's Memorial winner should be full of confidence for this one as he tied 5th on his last outing at the prestigious Players Championship. Dufner looks great value at 35/1 with Betfred, who are paying each-way terms on 6 places.

The Forth Worth Invitational, formerly known as the Dean and Deluca Invitational and the Crowne Plaza Invitational, takes place each year at the Colonial Country Club in Texas during May each year. It is an exciting part of the PGA Tour and golf betting for several reasons, not least its fine tradition which makes it the oldest tournament to still be played at its original venue.
