Race To Dubai Crown
Three men can win the Race To Dubai crown going into this final event of the campaign as current leader Tommy Fleetwood is holding off the red hot Justin Rose at the top of the points rankings, while Sergio Garcia (12/1) can also take the European Tour crown if he wins this week and the other two aforementioned players finish down the field.
This will be Garcia's first start since winning at Valderrama and the Masters champion has a decent record at Jumeirah, finishing in the top-21 in all six visits.
Fleetwood's form has stuttered of late and he is 25/1 here, while the in-form Justin Rose is a 7/1 favourite (Paddy Power) after securing back-to-back wins in China and Turkey, while it is worth noting that the Englishman has unfinished business with Dubai after twice finishing runner-up in this tournament.
We prefer to back another Englishman, Tyrrell Hatton, for the tournament this week as he has finished no worse than 20th in his past seven starts worldwide, including back-to-back wins recently. Hatton has a good record on the Earth Course too, going 6-13-2 in three visits, and he can be backed at 16/1 this week.
Tip #1: Tyrrell Hatton (each way) @ 16/1 with Paddy Power.
Victor Dubuisson is another with a good record at this tournament as he has finished 3-2-13-4 in his past four appearances and the man who followed up a 3rd place finish at the Alfred Dunhill Links with a top-three effort at the Nedbank Challenge last week looks like decent value.
Tip #2: Victor Dubuisson (each way) @ 28/1 with Boylesports.
Finally, the big-hitting Thomas Pieters has won three titles on the European Tour but he hasn't quite kicked on in the way he would have hoped this year. The Belgian enjoys playing in the desert though and we were encouraged by his tie for 11th in Turkey, where he was striking the ball very well.
Tip #3: Thomas Pieters (each way) @ 40/1 with Bet 365.
