Steve's tips will return in time for the start of the 2017/18 Premier League season...
Saturday 27th May, 5.30pm - Arsenal v Chelsea
I'm looking forward to Saturday's FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea but the 5.30pm kick-off time doesn't sit right with me as some things should be sacred and the kick-off time of this Wembley showpiece is one of them!
Looking ahead to the game, I've got a funny feeling that Arsenal could cause an upset after suffering a few knocks of late, particularly with missing out on fourth place in the Premier League and there is obviously the uncertainty surrounding the position of Arsene Wenger, who can only be waiting to say that he is going to stay. The whole situation is farcical because if he was going to go then he would have told us months ago and he could then have enjoyed something of a swansong, so he will stay, albeit it might be in another capacity at the club.
For some, an FA Cup win would justify him staying on as manager and I do have a gut feeling that the Gunners might cause an upset, but I have to go with my head when actually betting on the match.
A bet has to be based on what we know and Chelsea have been the best team in the country this season. Antonio Conte's side are so tough to beat and I'll back Chelsea to win 2-1.

Sunday 28th May, 3.00pm - Blackpool v Exeter
Sunday's League Two Play-Off Final is going to struggle to live up the excitement of the semi-finals, with the four games producing 22 goals! I can't imagine that a pair of two-legged ties have ever produced more entertainment or drama, with Carlisle coming from behind before being pipped at the last by Exeter and Blackpool nicking it at the death against Luton.
Blackpool have obviously been through the mill in recent years but Gary Bowyer has done well to steady the ship since.
As for Exeter, I think some fans were calling time on Paul Tisdale earlier on in the season as they were bottom of the table in November but they have enjoyed a remarkable turnaround since then.
I'm going to go for more goals in this one and let's go for a 3-2 Exeter win in what should be a really decent game to watch.

Monday 29th May, 3.00pm - Huddersfield v Reading
The Championship play-off semi-finals looked virtually impossible to call and so it proved, with Huddersfield and Reading edging through to the upcoming final on Bank Holiday Monday. It is very difficult to have a strong opinion on this match, which could well be decided by the bounce of the ball, a bit of luck or misfortune.
It has the potential to go the distance with extra-time but I'm going to go for Huddersfield to nick it 1-0 and secure their place in the Premier League for next season.
