Young Boys v Man Utd Odds
Young Boys, crowned the Swiss champions for the first time since 1986 last term, have started their new season in good fashion, winning all six of their league matches to sit atop of the Swiss Super League once more.
This is the first time that they have reached the group stages of the Champions League though and this is a big step up in class, with Betfred going 4/1 about a Young Boys win on Wednesday.
The Swiss outfit have only won two of their last six home games in Champions League qualifiers (drawn one, lost three) and they face a tough task against United, who have an excellent pedigree and a fine record in Europe, losing just three of their past 20 matches in European competitions (won thirteen, drawn four).
United are 8/11 for the win despite their stuttering start to the season and they should have too much quality for their hosts. It might not be straightforward though as Jose Mourinho's men are frail defensively, keeping one clean sheet in five Premier League games so far, and the United win combined with both teams to score is 5/2 with Betfred.
Both teams have scored in six of Young Boys' last seven games in all competitions, which suggests that they could be vulnerable at the back too.
With that in mind, Romelu Lukaku, who has scored seven goals in his last six outings for club and country, is the obvious first goalscorer pick at 4/1 with Betway. Lukaku has previous against Young Boys as he scored five goals in two matches against them for his old club Everton during the 2014/15 season, with the Toffees winning 4-1 at home and 3-1 away.
Lukaku to score in a Manchester United win is the stand-out bet for us at 13/8 (Boylesports).
