Manchester United v Leicester Odds
United have an excellent record in this particular fixture as they haven't lost to the Foxes at Old Trafford since 1998 - a run of ten games (won eight, drawn two) - and Jose Mourinho's men are 1/2 favourites to start with a win on Friday.
However, all is not well at United as Mourinho has spent much of the summer moaning and there has been plenty of frustration during the transfer window for Manchester United. Furthermore, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly are injury doubts this week, Nemanja Matic is definitely out, and the hosts are likely to be without a whole host of their World Cup stars.
Leicester would be a tempting bet for the win at 7/1 but they are likely to be without Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy on Friday and they are winless in eight meetings with United since they won 5-3 in September 2014.
Vardy scored one and set up four in that famous 5-3 win of nearly four years ago and he could be worth a look to score at anytime - 33/10 with Unibet - if he does appear from the bench as he has scored four in eight appearances against United.
Without Vardy, Leicester look devoid of any attacking threat and the cautious Claude Puel will no doubt set his team up defensively after the Foxes limped to the end of last season with five defeats from their final seven games.
The East Midlands outfit were dreadful on the road last season as they didn't win away at any of the teams that finished above them (drew one, lost seven) and they will struggle to break down this United defence.
Mourinho's men kept 12 clean sheets in 19 league games at Old Trafford last season, conceding only nine goals, and under 2.5 goals at 9/10 with Betfair is the obvious bet for a match between what are likely to be two makeshift teams.
