Tottenham v Barcelona Odds
Tottenham are desperate for three points after contriving to lose their opening Group B game 2-1 to Inter Milan and they head into this clash with Barca as a 13/5 chance for victory.
Mauricio Pochettino's side have something of an injury crisis as Dele Alli is out, while Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele are both doubts.
Barcelona are hardy in great shape themselves as they are without Sergi Roberto and Samuel Umtiti for this trip to England and they have gone three games without a win in La Liga since beating PSV 4-0 in their opening Champions League game.
Lionel Messi scored his eighth hat-trick in the history of the tournament during the win against PSV and he is 19/20 to score at anytime at Wembley. Messi is the only Barcelona player to have scored an away goal in the Champions League in the last two years!
In fact, Barca have won only one of their past seven away (drawn three, lost three) and they have failed to score in five of those. The Spanish giants are even-money for the win on Wednesday, although it is the draw which is most appealing at a best price 3/1 with Betfred.
Under 2.5 goals could also be worth a look (31/20 with Betfair) as Barca have struggled on the road, while Tottenham's own talisman, Harry Kane, has scored only three goals in nine home games in the Champions League.
Spurs were strong at Wembley in this competition last season, winning all three group games, including a stunning 3-1 win against eventual champions Real Madrid, although their injury worries ensure the draw is the best bet this week.
