Man Utd v Valencia Odds
The United manager, Jose Mourinho, is under huge pressure going into the game as the club reel from their worst start to a top-flight season since 1989/90, taking a paltry ten points from seven Premier League games following their embarrassing 3-1 loss at West Ham on Saturday.
Attention turns to the Champions League this week and United did beat Young Boys 3-0 in their opening Group H game. They will now look to enhance a fine home record that has seen them lose just three of their last 21 European home games (won 14, drawn four) and they are 13/20 for the win on Tuesday.
It is difficult to know how United will react to their shambolic performance against West Ham as they prepare to meet Valencia for the first time since 2010, when the pair drew 1-1 at Old Trafford.
In fact, five of the eight meetings between United and Valencia have ended in stalemates, so the draw might be worth a look at 3/1 with Bet Victor.
However, Valencia have been in poor form this season as they went seven without success (drew five, lost two) before finally picking up a first win of the campaign with a 1-0 La Liga victory at Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Seven of Valencia's eight outings have involved two goals or less and under 2.5 goals is a very decent bet at 21/20 with BetVictor.com.
Marcelino's men can make life difficult for their opponents and it is sure to be a nervy occasion at Old Trafford as the pressure on Mourinho continues to ramp up.
