2017 Natwest T20 Blast Finals Day Betting Preview

In our preview for the 2017 Natwest T20 Blast we tipped up Hampshire to win (12/1) and Colin Ingram to be top tournament batsman (20/1), and both bets are still alive as we head into Saturday's T20 Blast Finals Day at Edgbaston...

Saturday 2nd September, 11.00am - Glamorgan v Warwickshire
Match Odds:

Warwickshire will have the benefit of home advantage at Edgbaston this weekend and the Bears duly made that advantage count in 2014 as they went on to win the title. They beat Surrey in a thriller in the quarters last week and they start as 5/6 favourites (Paddy Power) to beat Glamorgan, who have been the surprise package this season.

Glamorgan are appearing in their first Finals Day since 2004 after only losing three games this season and Colin Ingram has been their star turn with the bat. Ingram, who is eleventh on the list of top runscorers in the competition with 451 runs to his name so far, is 11/4 to be top Glamorgan batsman (Unibet) following his superb 70 not out in the last-eight win over Leicestershire and we will be siding with our pre-tournament tip.

Saturday 2nd September, 2.30pm - Hampshire v Nottinghamshire
Match Odds:

Hampshire were our pre-tournament picks to win the title and we are going to stick with them - they are currently 3/1 to win outright this weekend. The South Coast side beat Glamorgan twice during the group stages and they have been an impressive team on the road, winning six of their eight away games.

This will be Hampshire's seventh Finals Day appearance in eight years and they can add to their two titles thanks to the addition of some impressive signings this term, with Kyle Abbott, Shahid Afridi and George Bailey all impressing.

Nottinghamshire have never won the T20 Blast and they have a poor record at Edgbaston, winning just one of four matches, including a semi-final defeat to Northamptonshire in 2016 and a group stage loss to Warwickshire earlier this season.

Hampshire have won both of their previous T20s against Nottinghamshire and we'll back them to make it three-from-three at 6/5 (Bet 365).
