The BNP Paribas, or Paris, Masters is the final Masters 1000 event before the ATP World Tour Finals. It takes place in early November each year on indoor hard courts in Paris.
It is a prime opportunity for tennis betting as players will be desperate to pick up ranking points to ensure they finish in the top eight and secure a place at the World Tour Finals. Furthermore, it is known as the most prestigious indoor tennis event and carries a prize purse of $2.27 million.
The betting though is generally wide open as plenty of value is to be found in the ante-post odds for Paris, with plenty of surprise winners competing in the final in the past and indeed winning the BNP Paribas Masters. Winners and finalists include Robin Soderling, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, David Nalbandian, Tomas Berdych and Gael Monfils. The absence of the big names such as Federer and Nadal means the punter could do well to do a bit of research before placing their ante-post bet and see who tends to fair well in Paris.

The ATP World Tour Finals is the ATP Tour's season ending event and is ranked only behind the four Grand Slams in terms of importance in the calendar.
