The Rogers Cup (also known as the Canadian Open, Montreal Masters or Toronto Masters) takes place in August each year. It comes after the French Open and Wimbledon in the ATP Calendar and is an important event as players gear up for the hard courts of the US Open at the end of August.
It alternates between venues each year, as it takes place in Montreal one year and Toronto the next. It is played on hard courts with prize money of $2.435 million and it attracts the top names from the ATP Tour.
This Masters event is in stark contrast to the clay court dominated events earlier in the season that are so often dominated by clay court specialists, not least Rafael Nadal.
It is a great opportunity for tennis betting ahead of the US Open as so many top players have claimed the title in the past and there is always plenty of value to be found in the ante-post odds. Andy Murray won in 2009 and 2010, while other winners include Andy Roddick, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic and they are names that are sure to be well backed in the betting for the Canada Masters.
| Year | Winner | Runner Up | Score |
| 2001 | Andrei Pavel | Patrick Rafter | 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 |
| 2002 | Guillermo Canas | Andy Roddick | 6-4, 7-5 |
| 2003 | Andy Roddick | David Nalbandian | 6-1, 6-3 |
| 2004 | Roger Federer | Andy Roddick | 7-5, 6-3 |
| 2005 | Rafael Nadal | Andre Agassi | 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 |
| 2006 | Roger Federer | Richard Gasquet | 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 |
| 2007 | Novak Djokovic | Roger Federer | 7-6, 2-6, 7-6 |
| 2008 | Rafael Nadal | Nicolas Kiefer | 6-3, 6-2 |
| 2009 | Andy Murray | Juan Martin del Potro | 6-7, 7-6, 6-1 |
| 2010 | Andy Murray | Roger Federer | 7-5, 7-5 |
| 2011 | Novak Djokovic | Mardy Fish | 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 |
Novak Djokovic beat Mardy Fish to claim the 2011 Rogers Cup in Montreal as he became the first player to win five Masters 1000 Series events in the same season. The world number one came through 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 and the Serb has still only lost one match during 2011.

The Cincinnati Masters is the final Masters event on the ATP Tour ahead of the prestigious US Open in August. It makes for a great betting opportunity as the world top players try and play their way into form and fitness for the big one at Flushing Meadows.
Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have enjoyed great success in the past, as had Rafael Nadal, and they are worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
While from a British perspective, Andy Murray often produces the goods on the hard courts and is a big fan of the US Open so he could provide decent value odds to go all the way in Cincinnati.......
