Roger Federer was once again the cream of the crop when he picked up the Australian Open crown for the 4th time beating Andy Murray in straight sets, the win in Melbourne was Federer's16th Grand Slam of an incredible career and attentions are now turning to the other three Grand Slams. Not since 1969 has any man won all four Grand Slams in one year but many believe that Federer is capable in 2010 after his win Down Under, the bookies have reacted to his win by slashing his odds on winning all four this year. Boylesports have been following Federer very closely and reacted to his win over Murray by slashing his odds on winning all four Slams to a skinny looking 8/1.

Federer has been at the top of the game for a number of years now winning every Grand Slam and is showing no sign of slowing down which is a good pointer for punters in this market, however the French Open is next on the list in May and that is likely to be the toughest test for the Swiss Star. Roger did win at Roland Garros last year for the first time but clay is not his best surface and there will be plenty of strong players ready to take him out given half the opportunity, Rafa Nadal is the four times Champion in France and fitness and form depending he will be the man to beat in May. We certainly feel that if Federer can win in France then he has a great chance of winning all four this season and the 8/1 currently on offer will be slashed even further with Wimbledon and the US Open on the horizon.
Federer is the King of the grass at Wimbledon and will go into this years Championships well backed to win yet another title at SW19, he has six titles in England already and will be desperate to make it number seven and equal Pete Sampras. This is a similar case at Flushing Meadow for the US Open as he is a five time Champion and is always difficult to back against in New York as in London, if he arrives in the US with three Grand Slams in 2010 then it is difficult to see him being beaten although he did lose out to Juan Martin Del Potro in the 2009 US Open Final. Federer is the King there is no doubt but we take Roger to slip up in Paris to dash his Grand Slam hopes, the 4/1 about Federer taking three Grand Slams in 2010 with Boylesports looks the best bet here with the Swiss winning the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.
