Big Brother Eviction Odds Suspended As Jem Walks But Alex Still Favourite In Winning Market

Aaron and Jem were set to go head to head this Friday for this week's Big Brother eviction, but Jem Palmer walked yesterday and so the nomination process this week has been suspended. Jem's reason for leaving the hallowed Elstree halls sounded very noble but in reality she may have sensed that she was likely to go anyway. The 28 year old wrestler and one time Gladiator cited that she wanted her sister Faye to get back to having fun in the house and that had become impossible with the tension between herself and Faye's now 'boyfriend' Aaron. There has been rising tension between Aaron and Jem, causing uncomfortable atmospheres so it was no surprise that they were both nominated for eviction. Bookmakers Paddy Power suspended theireviction market but still have plenty of other books to chose from.

The central market is of course the Outright Winners' market, where Aaron still has a good showing as 2/1 second favourite to lift the trophy behind Alex. Alex has managed to avoid the gruelling nomination process so far, as her laissez faire attitude has proved easy for the other housemates to live with. These two popular characters could not be more different, Alex is all naivety and gut reaction, Aaron exudes sophistication, charm and cunning but having got this far both will still have to be wary that over confidence does not lead to behaviour that is unpopular with the viewers.
