Aston Villa v Wigan Betting: Home side odds to remain unbeaten

Aston Villa are at home against Wigan in the Premier League this Saturday. Villa are unbeaten but are still only in 8th in the league while Wigan have slid down the table in recent weeks and are in 15th.

In the match odds, Aston Villa are firm favourites at 8/13 with Unibet while a Wigan win is 19/4 and a draw priced at 5/2. Of the six matches played in the Premier League so far, Aston Villa have drawn five and claimed one victory. It has been a steady start for manager Alex McLeish but he probably would have like to have gotten a win or two more to add to their points haul. Villa were unlucky last weekend not to secure their second win of the season when they led QPR 1-0 at Loftus Road only for centre-back Richard Dunne to score an injury-time own goal to give the home side a share of the points. McLeish will have been bitterly disappointed but the manager will be confident his side can get all three points at Villa Park on Saturday.
