Blandford Stakes Odds: Bible Belt and Banimpire head betting in exciting Group 2

The Curragh hosts the Group 2 Blandford Stakes on Sunday afternoon for fillies and mares run over one and a quarter miles. Last year this race was won by the Sir Michael Stoute trained Eleanora Duse and she retrns this year for another crack. The bookmkaers however make the Jessica Harrington trained Bible Belt their favourite, with Ladbrokes going 7/4 about the three year olds chances. The filly is relatively unexposed and the favourite has won this race on all but one occassion in the last eight years.

Bible Belt is unbeaten this year in three starts and seems to be going from strength to strength. She won a Leopardstown handicap off a mark of 102 back in July before improving seven pounds when winning a Listed race at Gowran Park on her next start. Another improvement came here a few weeks ago when winning the Group 3 Dance Design Stakes and she looks to have every chance here.
