Irish Champion Stakes Betting Preview: So You Think long odds on for Group 1

Leopardstown hosts the Group 1 Irish Champions Stakes on Saturday evening, with the Aiden O'Brien trained So You Think set to go off a long odds on favourite for the Ballydoyle team. Just six runners are entered into this one and a quarter mile contest, with O'Brien saddling three of the runners including the 2/7 market leader with Ladbrokes. Cape Blanco obliged for the Ballydoyle based trainer twelve months ago and if one of his runners should oblige on Saturday, that would make it his sixth win of the race in nine outings.

So You Think was a Ballydoyle acquisition from down under this year, with the former Melbourne Cup runner incredibly successful in his native Australia. Under the guidance of legendary trainer Bart Cummings, the five year old racked up five Group wins in the space of two months last Autumn in Australia, before going down the beaten favourite under top weight finishing third in last year's Melbourne Cup.
