Racing Plus Chase Tips: Planet Of Sound Can Stamp Class on Kempton Feature

Tips for this week’s Grade 3 Racing Plus Chase (formerly the Racing Post Chase) over 3 miles at Kempton Park have been plentiful with most now siding with the top weight, Planet Of Sound. The ten year old trained by Phillip Hobbs who has not seen the winners enclosure since April 2010 when he won his only Grade 1 the Punchestown Guinness Gold Cup at the Punchestown Festival.

His two runs the following season saw him finish third behind Imperial Commander in the Grade 1 Betfair Chase and then he was totally outclassed in the King George Vl Chase won by Long Run. However, he showed signs of returning to form on his last run this season when second behind Carruthers in the Hennessy Gold Cup and off the same mark in this race, he should respond well.
