Dr PJ Moriarty Novice Chase Odds: Last Instalment Looks for 4 Timer at Leopardstown

With the Alan Martin trained, Bog Warrior almost certain to go to Naas rather than contest this Grade 1 Dr PJ Moriarty Novice Chase at Leopardstown on Sunday, it would appear that only a disappointing four runners will go to post. The current favourite and very likely to stay at the top of the market is the Phillip Fenton trained, Last Instalment who has odds of 5/4 available from Bet365 which are likely to shorten further once it is officially announced that Bog Warrior, who is listed currently with odds of 7/4 is withdrawn.

Last Instalment of course comes to Leopardstown looking for a four timer after making the transition from Hurdles to fences look simple. His three wins in this unbeaten season culminated with a top quality success on good ground in the Grade 1 Fort Leney Novice Chase over 3 miles at Leopardstown at the end of December. In that race he had the highly regarded Mouse Morris trained First Lieutenant six lengths behind and the victory earned him his entry as well as a host of racing tips for the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival next month for which he now has odds of 8/1 to win.
