Johnnie Walker Championship Odds: Back Jamie Donaldson to win at Gleneagles

Edoardo Molinari is back to defend his Johnnie Walker Championship title at Gleneagles this week, although it is his brother Francesco who starts as favourite on Thursday. Stan James price Francesco at 16/1, although Edoardo will not be without his supporters from healthy odds of 35/1.

Edoardo claimed his second win on the European Tour at Gleneagles last year and in the process secured his place in the 2010 European Ryder Cup winning team. The defending champion went round in 278 strokes, ten under par, to beat Brett Rumford by a shot. Molinari may be struggling for form this year but Scotland often brings out the best in him as he has won the Loch Lomond classic in the past and he looks worthy of each-way consideration at least.
