Bookies Tip Simon Cowell To Return As X Factor Judge In 2012

Whilst the X Factor has travelled its well rutted path and come to its conclusion with Little Mix taking the trophy, the bookies are clearly keen to maintain the interest of those faithful reality TV punters. Even before the X Factor tour has started and the result of the Christmas No 1 battle is still unknown, bookmakers Paddy Power are offering a market on who will be on the judging panel for 2012. Interestingly their favourite for inclusion is Louis Walsh at odds of 1/6.

Concurrent with the outright winner, winning gender, winning judge and next elimination betting, Paddy Power offered a bet that at some point in the 2011 series Simon Cowell would return, the odds were short but supremo Cowell did not return. After the concern that the new look judging panel would be unsuccessful and unpopular, Syco proved that no one is bigger than the show, not even Cheryl Cole. Whilst there was some criticism about this year's acts there were few complaints about the judges.
