Next Fulham Manager Odds: Jol Still Favourite but U Turn Possible

Bookmakers are re-opening their markets regarding the vacant managers post at Fulham, after odds on favourite Martin Jol appears to have completed a U-Turn on the move and is now likely to stay in Holland. The ‘change of heart’ is a bitter pill to swallow for the Fulham Chairman, Mohamed Al-Fayed, who had played a significant role in trying to obtain Jol’s signature. Despite everything, nothing is as yet resolved, indeed Jol remains favourite still to come to Craven Cottage with odds of 5/4, available from Ladbrokes.

Al-Fayed has already suffered one major blow with the loss to Liverpool of Roy Hodgson, who took the club to two seasons of Premier League respectability and to the Final of the 2010 Europa Cup – Jol of course was seen to be the perfect man to replace him, particularly after his success’s with Hamburg and Ajax in the three seasons since he was dumped by Tottenham Hotspur.
