The England World Cup Draw Opponents odds markets have been created by a variety of Bookmakers ahead of the 2010 World Cup draw on 4th December.
The perfect situation for England would be for them to draw N Korea from Pot 2, Algeria from Pot 3 and Slovakia from Pot 4, but that is us probably in dreamland; the odds however make for interesting reading, particularly from VC Bet who quote every team in all 3 pots, (less the three S American teams in Pot 3) at 13/2 to be drawn in England's Group. England have a greater chance of meeting the South American teams from this Group, as neither Brazil or Argentina can.
The 32 teams will be divided into 8 Groups of 4 teams each with one team from each pot, meaning, for England fans at least, that they will not be drawn in the same Group as any of the teams in Pot A. However no Group can have more than one team from the same continent, with the exception of Europe, who have the biggest contingent of qualifiers; in Europe's case therefore there is a maximum of two teams allowed per Group:

Obviously there are plenty of options for England some of them very exciting. For instance they could be drawn along with Australia from Pot 2, who would undoubtedly be all out to upset England and who would ‘play out of their skins to do so'. They could also then draw the Ivory Coast, with Didier Drogba leading their attack and being marked by team mate, John Terry. To make matters even more difficult France from Pot 4 could be added making it a ‘Group of Death' for England. Each of those teams are quoted at 13/2 with VC Bet to be drawn in England's group.
