Paddy Power Chase Odds - Fantastic Paddy Power Chase Betting Offer

The Paddy Power Gold Cup odds are beginning to take shape following the latest declaration on Monday where 26 acceptors still stand their ground for what will be one of the most important trial races of this early season.

The sponsors as usual have come up with yet another exciting betting offer for punters and it is one that really should not be missed. The offer is simply that Paddy Power will refund any losing stake should a Paul Nicholls trained horse win the race. Considering that Nicholls has three of the most highly fancied entries in the race, including the two of the current race favourites, Chapoturgeon and Poquelin, this offer is too good to turn down. To take advantage of the bet punters should click the link any Paddy Power on this page.

Despite being only a Grade Three, the Paddy Power Chase has grown in stature over recent years and has had several real top class winners including Imperial Commander last year, the late Exotic Dancer in 2006 and Our Vic who won in 2005 and is amongst the contenders again this year. Both Imperial Commander (2008) and Our Vic (2005) are also Grade One winners, both having won the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Chapoturgeon came to notice when winning the Jewsons Novices Chase at the Cheltenham Festival back in March but is now thought to be good enough to take on more experienced horses in this. It is interesting to note that Nicholls stable jockey, Ruby Walsh has elected to ride Poquelin instead of the third Nicholls horse, Tatenen, who was very highly regarded last season having been at one time antepost favourite for the Arkle Trophy Chase at Cheltenham. However, Walsh rode Poquelin to victory in the Zeturf Handicap Chase over course and distance last month and clearly has a preference for him. Chapoturgeon is currently 6/1 with Poquelin at 7/1, while Tatenen is a best price of 10/1 to win the race. They can all be backed with the sponsors Paddy Power.

Another contender who should run a big race is the Alan King trained Tarotino who is on a four timer. A winner of his last three starts, including two classy looking Novice chases and then the Wynnstay Hunt Handicap Chase at Bangor in March, this 7 year old has class written all over him and could well be the one to be on. He is currently a 7/1 shot also with Paddy Power.
