The Middle Park Stakes odds has the John Gosden trained, Showcasing as a warm order favourite at 2/1 with Paddy Power to win this tough looking Group One over six furlongs on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket this Friday. Showcasing is one of the Gosden's leading two year olds, but the in form Newmarket trainer has not had a winner of this race since 2002, but knows that a win in this would push his colts 2000 Guineas claims, for which he is currently 20/1 with VC Bet.
The unbeaten Awzaan, trained by Mark Johnston, is next in the betting at 3/1 also with Paddy Power he was an impressive winner of the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes a fortnight ago despite hanging left inside the final furlong. It was his third straight win and he must be in with a big chance in this.
