The Cheveley Park Stakes odds for this big Group One Fillies six furlong dash has the Brian Meehan trained, Lady Of The Desert as the 2/1 favourite with Paddy Power ahead of the race. Already a winner of a Group Three at Ascot and theGroup Two Lowther Stakes at York, this very quick filly will do her 1000 Guineas claims no harm should she win here. She is the current 10/1 favourite for the fillies opening classic with Ladbrokes but those odds will soon disappear should she take the honours in this very competitive race.
Next in the betting is the very promising Special Duty, trained in France by Madame Criquette Head, who trained the winner of this race back in 1996. This filly was second to Arcano (trained by Meehan) last time out in the Group One Prix Morny, where she led until caught on the line losing by a neck. Her odds of 11/4 with Paddy Power are thought to be very reasonable for what is surely a Group One filly.
