Goodwood Cup Odds - Schiaparelli Favourite in Betting

The Goodwood Cup Odds are showing us that it is Schiaparelli who is likely to head into the big race at Glorious Goodwood as favourite. The godolphin trained horse is likely to have Frankie Dettori on board and has shown some good form in recent times. Last time out at Newmarket he came in a good 3rd place in the Princess of Wales Blue Square stakes which has seen the interest in him here raised. Schiaparelli is currently priced at 5/2 with VC Bet to claim the Goodwood Cup on Thursday. It looks a competitive field with several different horses in the mix up and the Godolphin horse looks to be the one to beat in the field.

Askar Tau is yet to run in 2009 but won an excellent five races in 2008 so is definitely one to be watched here. His last race saw him beaten by Caraccoila so he will need to reverse that form to win here but maybe capable of doing just that. Askar Tau is currently priced at 11/2 with Stan James to win the Goodwood Cup. this looks a reasonably open race with no clear favourite and may well be one of the highlights of Glorious Goodwood.
