The Amir Khan v Andreas Kotelnik boxing odds has Khan as overwhelming odds on favourite to win the WBA Light Welterweight crown at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester. Khan is currently best priced at 4/9 with Boylesports while the Ukrainian is 2/1 with Ladbrokes
Kotelnik has been world champion since March 2008 when he beat Welshman, Gavin Rees on a 12th round TKO and has defended the title twice since. Not known as a big hitter, Kotelnik has won 31 of his 34 fights but only has 13 wins by way of stoppage. He is a workmanlike performer who's only two defeats have come by split decisions.

Khan of course is now under contract with Sky Sports and this will be his second fight on Sky Box Office. His first one against Bredis Prescott in September 2008 ended in disaster with Khan being knocked out within a minute of the fight starting. This devastating defeat seriously exposed Khan's defensive frailties and proved conclusively that he had a long way to go before being declared the best in the world.
In this fight, Khan has a chance to redeem himself and he goes into the fight with the knowledge that at least he does not have a big hitter against him. But how good either fighter really is remains unknown and will remain that way no matter who wins.
Khan has been on his pants in several of his fights but has mostly got up again and turned in impressive come backs. He is a quick and big hitter himself and should have too much for the champion in this. That said he is a fighting a man who has never been stopped and Khan might well have to go the distance to win; an outcome that can be backed with Ladbrokes at 6/4.
4/9 Khan, 2/1 Kotelnik, 33/1 Draw
