John Smiths Cup Odds - Riggins and Kingdom of Fife Head Betting

The John Smiths Cup Odds are showing that it is Riggins and Kingdom of Head who are fighting it out for favouritism ahead of the big race at York on Saturday. Riggins has show some good form so far in 2009 and he is currently priced at 11/2 with Stan James to win at York in the John Smiths Cup. Riggins ran well last time out when he won at Goodwood at the end of May to make that three wins out of four in his short career. It was by no means a vintage performance from Riggins but he looked as though there could be some more improvement and that may come at York.

He came in second in the Wolferton Handicap at the Royal meeting and showed good form with Frankie Dettori on board and a repeat of that run should see him go close at York. Moonquake is as short as 8/1 with some bookies but can be got at 10/1 with VC Bet to win the John Smiths Cup at York. this looks a competitive race with several contenders but we like the look of The Queens horse here and take Kingdom of Fife to win.
