The Lancashire Oaks odds for this Saturdays Group Two Lancashire Oaks at Haydock Park has the Barry Hills trained, Epsom Oaks third, High Heeled as favourite at around 15/8 but she can be backed at a best price of 9/4 with Bet365

Hills clearly believes that a drop back in class will suit his filly who has shown great ability at Group One level but has come up against Oaks winner, Sariska in her last two runs. This therefore looks on paper to be tailor made for her.

To win however she will have to see off a couple of highly regarded filly's, firstly the Henry Cecil trained Flame Of Gibraltar who was second in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot 2 weeks ago behind Godolphin's Flying Cloud. There is also the prospect of having to defeat three time Group One winner, Lush Lashes who was fifth in the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh last week. Lush Lashes is clearly a class filly but she has struggled to run at the same level as last year so far this season. On top of that, this race might have come too soon for her but at the moment her trainer has left her in and she can be backed at 6/1 with Stan James to win it
