The Premier League relegation odds suggest that it will be Hull and Sunderland who will stay up and that Newcastle and Middlesbrough will be playing Championship football next season. The four teams go into battle this weekend on a wing and a prayer that they can do enough to secure top flight football next season
Middlesbrough are anything between 1/50 and 1/80 to go down, they have more than a mountain to climb in their last match away against West Ham. Not only must they win, but they must hope that they can bridge the 10 goal differential between them and Newcastle and the four goal difference between themselves and Hull.

Hull are around 13/8 with VC Bet to go down, currently they sit a point clear of Newcastle and two points clear of Middlesbrough, but they have to entertain Champions, Man Utd in their final game and in theory they should gain nothing from that match. Newcastle meanwhile has to travel to Villa Park in the full knowledge that they must get at least something out of the game. They could be lucky as Villa have hardly been convincing for the past two months and could be there for the taking. Newcastle are 2/1 to beat Villa, but better odds are available for a draw at 5/2 with Boylesports which looks a far more likely result.
Sunderland who entertain Chelsea were dreadful against Portsmouth in midweek and unless they learn how to defend overnight they could be in for a drubbing. Luckily for them they can only be caught realistically by Hull and Newcastle and it is unlikely that both of those sides will win.
We see it that only Newcastle will get something out of these final games and would bet that they can get a draw against Villa, while the other three teams lose. This would mean that they would go above Hull on goal difference and would make them safe. For us it is relegation for WBA, Middlesbrough and Hull.
