The Duke of York Stakes Odds are showing that the French horse Equiano is likely to head into the race as a narrow favourite. It looks like being an open field with several horses bunched up in the betting market. Equiano is trained by Barry Hills who is having a great run of results at the moment which may be the reason for his slight favouritism. Last time out at Newmarket he came in second behind Tax Free who is another contender in this race. Despite that result, the bookies believe that Equiano will reverse the placings at York.
