The Cooldine odds for the RSA Chase show him as a slight favourite for the race in what should be a tightly contested affair at the Cheltenham Festival. Ruby Walsh has decided that he wants to be on Cooldine for the race and that is enough for many punters to put their money on the Willie Mullins trained horse. Cooldine has been in good form this season and was a good winner on his last outing. That victory was in the DR. P.J.Moriarty Novice Chase at Leopardstown in February and although his jumping was far from fluent he was still the class horse of the race by a distance. Cooldine is currently available at 9/2 with Paddy Power. Cooldine has not had a perfect season however as he was slightly disappointing in finishing third in the Durkan New Homes Novice Chase at Leopardstown in December. He looked uncomfortable in that race and although in a good position near the end he didn't have enough to kick on.

The RSA Chase is full of top horses this year many of whom are in with a shout of winning the race. What A Friend is a horse whose odds have continued to shorten as the Festival approaches due to some excellent performances so far this season. He won on his last run in the Cheltenham Business Club Novices' Chase at Cheltenham in December. He is attracting heavy support and is now priced at 5/1 with Ladbrokes . What A Friend also had a good win over fellow RSA Chase contender Carruthers at Uttoxeter in October. Carruthers though has won his last two races since then including an excellent victory at Ascot in February and he is another candidate for the RSA Chase. The RSA Chase could well be one of the highlights of the Cheltenham Festival as there seems to be very little between the top horses which makes it an interesting race for punters with good value available.
