The Premier League Darts odds for this 5th night of competition should stimulate darts punters to make a few bets on the likely outcomes. Currently its Mervyn King leading the way, the Englishman has been in exceptional form so far this year winning all four of his matches and losing only 8 legs in the process.
King has gone three points clear of reigning champion Phil Taylor and world number two James Wade at the top of the table. King and Taylor however will meet tonight in what looks to be by far the most outstanding game of the night.

This should be a close match between the two youngest players, but Wade seems in by far the better form of the two, winning both his last two matches. This brings together the League leader King and the 2008 champion. Taylor. Taylor has by far the best record of the two in their head to head battles and despite his defeat at the hands of James Wade in week four will be ready to bounce back. King however should come into the match brimming with confidence and will undoubtedly go flat out to retain his unbeaten record. Taylor is the overwhelming favourite at 1-3 but King has very attractive odds of 6-1 to topple him. Raymond Van Barnevald v Wayne Mardle
This should be a good match with neither man showing his best form so far. However, Barney returned to winning ways last week against Terry Jenkins, while Mardle was thrashed again at the hands of John Part. We would not back against Barney in this but Mardle at 15-2 with Paddy Power looks hard to resist in a two horse race
Terry Jenkins v John Part
The final match of the night should be quite interesting with both men sitting in mid-table and both wanting a coveted top four spot. Jenkins however has yet to win this year, having drawn three and lost one, while Part has only lost once so far. The odds have it for Jenkins but we like the odds of Part of 13-5 with Ladbrokes
It should be another great night of darts and one that could provide rich pickings for darts fans.
