Binocular Champion Hurdle Odds Show Him As Stong Favourite

The Binocular betting ahead of the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival remains strong and he looks set to go into the race as a heavy favourite. Binocular has been outstanding this season and is justifiably a short priced favourite to win with the Cheltenham Festival fast approaching.The Nicky Henderson trained horse has been in excellent form so far this season and he has won both his outings so far including the Boylesports.com International at Ascot in December. In that race Binocular was an impressive winner with Celestial Halo in second place, he won comfortably and appeared to have a lot in the tank should he come under any pressure at Cheltenham. This is reflected in odds of 6/5 with Stan James. Celestial Halo is another horse involved in the Champion Hurdle but he doesn't look like he has the ability or the stamina to test Binocular when push comes to shove.

Anotherchallenger to Binocular in the betting is Osana who was runner-up in the Champion Hurdle last year to Katchit and he has shown decent form so far this season. Osana came in second on his only run this season in the Totepool Contenders Hurdle at Sandown. Katchit himself will also be in the race this year but has shown average form and that is reflected in his odds of14/1 with Bet365.The Champion Hurdle appears to be Binoculars' to lose and although there are several strong horses in the race they are not in the class of Binocular and fitness depending he should triumph reasonably comfortably.
