Christmas Hurdle Odds
The Christmas Hurdle odds for the Christmas Hurdle betting race on Boxing day has the Fighting Fifth winner, Punjabi as the short priced favourite to win yet another big hurdling crown for the Seven Barrows trainer Nicky Henderson. With wins at all three big hurdling races last weekend, Henderson will unleash Punjabi to claim another big prize and it should be noted that Henderson believes Punjabi is every bit as good as Binocular. If that is true then he should have little difficulty justifying the odds in this race.
It is known that jockey, Barry Geraghty loves this horse and sacrificed several winning rides at Newbury the other week in order to ride Punjabi at Newcastle in the Fighting Fifth, unfortunately for Geraghty that race was postponed so he lost out completely. That said he rode Punjabi to a superb victory in the rearranged Fighting Fifth the following week and he will be looking ton repeat that success here
Snap Tie will be an interesting challenger, he was fourth in the Supreme Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham last season and came back on his reappearance this season with a win over Champion Hurdler Katchit; he could be the one to give Punjabi a race. .

For each way backers, Harchibald might well be a good choice, although old compared to the orher leading contenders in this race, Harchibald has proven class and with odds of 12/1 with Stan James they may well be worth taking. For us however it should be Punjabi and that is where we will be putting our money.
