The 2008 Grand Slam of darts odds for this weekends Grand Slam of Darts betting tournament has World number one and defending champion, Phil Taylor as red hot favourite to claim yet another trophy this year. The tournament starts this Saturday with all 32 players playing over two sessions in a round robin phase. It is a tournament which brings together players form the two professional codes, the BDO and the PDC, plus the Ladies Professional League.

Defending Champion Taylor meets former BDO finalist Phil Nixon in the first round, which should be an entertaining first test for the incomparable world number one. PDC World Champion, John Part will play the very interesting Russian lady star, Olga Dobromyslova, which will no doubt be one of the highlights, particularly if Part should lose.
