Charlie Hall Chase Odds
The Charlie Hall Chase odds has State Of Play and dual winner Ollie Magern as 7/2 joint favourites for the Charlie Hall Chase betting race this weekend. The race unfortunately has lost some of its attraction after the former Cheltenham Gold Cup winner, War of Attrition, was withdrawn due to the ground not being right for him. His trainer Mouse Morris was disappointed but understandably had no real choice. He is now likely to point War of Attrition at a chase next week at Thurles.
War of Attrition returned to the race course after a near two year lay off to win by 19 lengths at Punchestown a week or two ago. It showed him in good form and he will be a sad omission from this race. Next in the betting now is Turko at 4/1, with Albertas Run and Monkerhostin both on 5/1.

Ollie Magern will be back to defend his title as he attempts to win the race for a third time for in-form trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies. He's in good form and hopefully he will produce a big run for the in form Naunton trainer. Peter Bowens Snoopy Loopy, who was a fine third in the Old Roan Chase last weekend, will also take his chance. He is currently 7/1 but has the confidence of his shrewd trainer to go and win his biggest race of his career. The ten year old was staying on well last week and must be in with a big each chance in this.
