It is well known that Cox's horse's come on at this time of year and with Electrolyser being so lightly raced it is as if he has been laid out for the race.

Some might say that he got caught out in the Northumberland Plate back in June, where he could only manage fifth behind, Som Tala. Excuses however can be made on two major counts, firstly the ground was not to his liking and secondly he had a poor draw and was never allowed to get into the race. His win at Ascot has certainly confirmed in our minds that he has fully recovered from that experience and being bang on the handicap mark for Saturday, he just has to run a big race.
