Our Cesarewitch tips this year's centre on one horse, that of the Clive Cox trained, Electrolyser, a winner last time out of the Listed Fenwolf Stakes at Ascot over 2 miles. This lightly raced ffour year old has improved with every run so far this season and if normal trends continue then he should do so again in time for the Cesarewitch. It is well known that Cox's horse's come on at this time of year and with Electrolyser being so lightly raced it is as if he has been laid out for the race.

Currently he is priced at around 8/1 but he can be snapped up with Paddy Power at 9/1, which are really very good odds.

Some might say that he got caught out in the Northumberland Plate back in June, where he could only manage fifth behind, Som Tala. Excuses however can be made on two major counts, firstly the ground was not to his liking and secondly he had a poor draw and was never allowed to get into the race. His win at Ascot has certainly confirmed in our minds that he has fully recovered from that experience and being bang on the handicap mark for Saturday, he just has to run a big race.
