The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship odds have three time Major winners, Padraig Harrington and Ernie Els as joint favourites to win the individual crown. If Harrington should win it will strengthen his hold on the European Order of Merit trophy. There are many superstar figures from the worlds of golf, sport, entertainment and industry gathering for the championship at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingbarns this week in what has become a hugely popular event. Harrington will be making his first appearance on European soil at three of Scotland's, and indeed the world's, greatest links course since he added the US PGA Championship to his Open Championship successes in the summer. Lee Westwood will turn up with Harrington in his sights at the top of the Order of Merit. The Englishman won €254,408 last Sunday in the British Masters to move to second place on the Order of Merit.
