The Quinn British Masters Golf odds has returning Ryder Cup player, Lee Westwood as a surprising favourite ahead of the tournament this week at the popular Brabazon course at the Belfry. Westwood of course won the tournament in 2007 but after his Ryder Cup experiences last weekend he may not be in the best frame of mind to defend his title. It would be typical of him to come up with the goods in light of his omission and fuel the ongoing arguments of Faldo's captaincy of the Ryder Cup team.

Clark is a 25/1 shot this week and is certainly worth some each way money. Colin Montgomerie, who loves the Belfry course, is another who could rub Faldo's nose in it, by turning in a winning performance. He has of course been well out of form but at odds of around 50/1 could be worth taking. The other current Ryder Cup player to make the line up, Oliver Wilson is a 28/1 shot to win his first European PGA Tour title.
