Phil Taylor Favourite for the Sky Poker World Grand Prix

Stan James make Phil Taylor the 11/8 favourite for the Sky Poker World Grand Prix beginning in Dublin next month and running from October 6-12th. The seven-time Champion lost in the first round to Adrian Gray last year and indeed his only three defeats in the tournament have all been in the first round! The Power will play an in-form Ronnie Baxter who won a Players Championship in Wales on Saturday. If Taylor gets through the first round then he is likely to play Colin Osborne who was humbled by the Power in the Stan James World Matchplay in Blackpool back in July but has also been in very good form in the floor tournaments of late.
