African Rose and Utmost Respect battle for favouritism in Ladbrokes Sprint Betting

African Rose and Utmost Respect are inseparable in the betting for the Ladbrokes Sprint at Doncaster on Saturday. The race was originally set to be run at Haydock last weekend but the meeting was abandoned due to the rain. It has been rescheduled for this Satuday and as a result, adds a second Group One race to an already quality ladened St Leger card.

The same field of runners who were set to run at Haydock, look likely to take their chances at Doncaster with Utmost Respect and African Rose the 4/1 co-favoruites with new sponsors Ladbrokes. The French filly, African Rose, looks the one to beat on the form of her last outing when finsihing second to Marchand D'Orand four lengths in front of Utmost Respect at Deauville.

US Ranger is the Aidan O'Brien runner in the race, as the Ballydoylesupremo looks to add two more Group One successes to his growing tally and last year' winning trainer, Barry Hills, runs Equiano, who could still ahve further improvement in him. Corrybrough from the Henry Candy stable has been the horse that some bookmakers have reported support for during the week.
