The Premier League Snooker Odds has world Champion, Ronnie O'Sullivan as clear favourite to retain his title. He kicks off his campaign against his greatest rival, John Higgins, this Thursday, who he beat in the Premier League final last season. O'Sullivan has started this season off in great style, winning the Irish Open last week, where he beat Dave Harold in the final.

The Premier League is a weekly tournament played between just seven players and will be screened on Sky Sports. In this first round of matches, O'Sullivan takes on Higgins, while Mark Selby plays, the Chinese ‘expected one', Ding Junhui. The matches are played over just six frames with the winner receiving 2 points and one point if the six frames are shared. It will run until each player has played each other once and then the top four in the league will play a knock out stage, with the winners meeting in the final in early December.
