KLM Open Golf Odds
The KLM Open Golf Odds this week have installed top ranked Swede, Henrik Stenson as pre-tournament favourite at odds of 10/1. The world's number 10 comes off a great performance at the USPGA Championship a couple of weeks ago and is a well deserved favourite to follow that performance up here. Second in the betting is Justin Rose, the Englishman who is determined to secure his Ryder Cup selection and will need a solid performance here to get in on merit. In some respects the entry list is disappointing, with several big name or form players missing. This list includes Colin Montgomerie who having missed the last week's tournament in Sweden and now this has effectively ruled himself out of contention for an automatic Ryder Cup selection spot. Montgomerie insists however that he is as keen as ever to be one of Nick Faldo's wildcard selections but must put his hopes in his past Ryder Cup performances and Faldo's perception.

Others who will be pitching for Ryder Cup selection include, Martin Kaymer. The top ranked German was a certainty for automatic selection a couple of months ago, but a poor run of form has seen his hopes fade and he too must have a big tournament this week if he is to have any chance. So too must Oliver Wilson. Wilson has had an excellent season and so far occupies an automatic selection position for the Ryder Cup. However he is one of those who's position is under threat and he will need to finish the tournament amongst the leaders to consolidate his position. Nick Dougerty is another who is due to play this week, but despite his runner up spot in Sweden last week; the young Englishman suffered a twist in his back and may now not make the line up. We take Justin Rose to show what a class player he really is and suggest an each way punt on him at odds of around 14/1. Odds are 10/1 Stenson, 14/1 Rose, 20/1 Fisher, 22/1 Kaymer, 25/1 Dougherty, 33/1 Fisher, Forsythe, Kjeldson, Hansen, 40/1 Wilson.
