Our Yorkshire Oaks Tip for this week's Yorkshire Oaks betting Group One at York on Thursday is the Aiden O'Brien trained Ice Queen. We think she is capable of getting her head in front in this weakened field and provide the Ballydoyle outfit with yet another Group One success. The constant rain has put paid to the chances of several of those previously fancied and injury has ruled out pre-race favourite, Epsom Oaks winner, Look Here and O'Brien has withdrawn his Irish Oaks heroine Moonstone.

Ice Queen will now head the Ballydoyle challenge and with reports that she can go on the soft then she seems a pretty obvious choice, despite the attention being paid to Passage of Time and Promising Lead in the betting. While those two battle it out for favouritism, Ice Queen waits silently in the shadows and will be expected to go one better than her narrow defeat to Moonstone in the Irish Oaks. The O'Brien Group One form is simply too good to ignore, we have been warning punters all season that O'Brien has been targeting Group One's where his success rate has been outstanding.

The two race favourite's Passage of Time and Promising Lead may also be withdrawn, although it is hoped that at least one of them will line up.
