The England v Czech Republic odds for the England Czech Republic betting friendly match this Wednesday at Wembley has England as favourites. The match is the final friendly before Fabio Capello leads the England side into their first two World Cup qualifiers next month against Andorra and Croatia. His squad that was announced today had one surprise inclusion and one or two glaring omission's. Firstly the surprise was the recall to International duty of Wigan's Emile Heskey and the omissions included, Peter Crouch, Darren Bent and Luke Young. On the face of it England looks a little short of strike power, with only three natural forwards, Heskey, Wayne Rooney and Jermain Defoe. As usual there is strength in depth in midfield but Michael Carrick will be a possible casualty after limping off for Manchester United against Newcastle on Sunday. Capello has persisted with David Beckham but whether he gets the nod ahead of David Bentley will be interesting.
