The Shergar Cup odds for this weekend's Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup at Ascot has the Irish team as 7/4 favourites. The British team's hopes were bolstered when Frankie Dettori was released from duty to take the place of the otherwise committed, Ryan Moore. The British Team will be spearheaded by Captain Hayley Turner, the three person team will also include joint champion jockey Seb Sanders. They are second favourites behind the Irish at 2/1. The other teams competing are the Resy of the World led by the Japanese superstar jockey, Yutaka Take who will have Russell Baze of Canada and Jorge Ricardo of Brazil in his team. Meanwhile the European team will be made up from Gerald Mosse (captain), Mirco Demuro and Halis Karatasyer. The evnt promises to be a lot of fun but Bookmakers are treating it vfery seriously and expect there to be some heavy betting.
