Our Free racing tip today is Luca Cumani's two year old colt, Magaling, who has an entry for York Ebor Meeting's, Group Two, Gimcrack Stakes next month. Punters should be aware that a lot of ‘behind the scenes preparation work' has been going on to get this horse ready for the race. This 2 year old cost over 100,000 pounds as a yearling and is very highly thought of by both the trainer, Luca Cumani and the connections. On his debut Magaling ran very well to finish just behind winner Khor Dubai in a 6 furlong maiden at Yarmouth, the winner, the Godolphin trained, Khor Dubai, had ran a very creditable 9th place in the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot a week or two before. Cumani believes it was a very impressive debut run and like all Cumani's 2 years old's, Magaling will come on oodles for the run and should also fill out a little more to give him that much more strength by the time of the Ebor meeting in August.

The Gimcrack is one of the biggest races for 2 year olds in the country and has produced some big name winners, including Rock of Gibraltar, who won in 2001 for trainer Aiden O'Brien and jockey Mick Kinane.
