20/20 Cricket Quarter Final Odds
The 20/20 Cricket Quarter Final odds have the Durham Dynamo's as 9/2 favourites to lift the trophy this year. They play against Yorkshire Carnegie in the first of the matches on Monday, while 2nd favourites Lancashire take on Middlesex on Tuesday. The Durham v Yorkshire will be a rugged encounter, but Durham have the home advantage and are probably playing better cricket at the moment. It looks like they will have former South African Captain, Shaun Pollock available and if his bowling is as good as usual he will be very hard to score against. Add him to an attack that includes in form Steve Harminson and Liam Plunkett, the Dynamo's will have to be favourites for this one. Durham are 4/6 to win, while Yorkshire are 5/4.

Complaints galore have been made against Northampton, due to the amount of South Africans in their side. Some have said they should change their name to the “Northants Springboks” and why not? With quality players and match winners such as Lance Kluesner, Nicky Boje and Andrew Hall in the line up, they will surely gain some sort of advantage. However, playing at the Essex stronghold of Chelmsford will be a distinct disadvantage to them and if Graham Napier can hit the same form for Essex as he did 2 weeks ago with 152 in record time, then the ‘Northants Boks' could well be seen off. Odds are 4/5 Essex and 11/10 Northants.

The Middlesex v Lancashire match will be played on an excellent wicket at the Oval, even though the Middlesex team will feel unlucky that they have deprived the use of their normal Lords pitch, due to the First Test starting this week. We take Lancashire to win this however; they have been in good form and with ‘Freddy' Flintoff bowling at his aggressive best and Sajid Mahmood supporting him in a high class attack. Middlesex have played steady cricket so far but they will need to turn up the volume considerably if they are to see off Lancashire. Middlesex are 11/10 and Lancashire 8/11.

The fourth quarter final see Warwickshire ‘bears' take on the Kent ‘spitfires' in a match that is very close to call. The ‘bears' have only lost one match so far and confidence is very high. But Kent will come to Edgbaston with a team of 3 or 4 excellent all rounder's and they have an excellent, relaxed team spirit, due mainly to Captain Rob Key.
